Captain Paul Watson
I have very vivid memories of fishing with my parents in Mobile Bay as a child. We hunted for soft shell crabs, flounder and swam in these waters. My love for exploring the ocean started here.
Why do I care about ocean pollution?
Because:
I am a geologist with fiery passion for clean bodies of water. I am fighting for clean oceans!
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.
Psalm 24:1
Bill grew up on the shores of Mobile Bay, He lived a life and love of the environment and oceans striving to ensure a clean future for his family and future generations. He spent a career in the military as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer and Civil Engineer and currently manages the rooftop solar portfolio for a global technology company.
When he was young, Mobile Bay was a source of bounty for fish, crab and oysters. Today, that environment is threatened by pollution. Most visible are plastics, and other litter, polluting our storm drains, feeding into our rivers, bays, the Gulf of Mexico and ultimately into the oceans and marine life living in these ecosystems.
Join us on our journey to eliminate ocean pollution and preserve the fragile marine ecosystem for our sons, daughters and future generations.
